Request a Roof Estimate in Boulder, CO
Planning a new roof in Boulder, CO or elsewhere in Boulder County? Send one short request and a single independent local roofer will reach out to look at the roof and prepare a written estimate. This site gets a referral fee from that roofing company; you owe it nothing and get nothing from it.
How Estimates Work
The estimate is the roofer's document, not ours. After seeing the roof, the roofer writes down the materials, the work involved and the price, and you can study it as long as you like. Lots of roofers write estimates without charging for them, but ask the roofer about that before the visit.
If you go ahead, Colorado requires a written contract for home roofing over $1,000, signed by both of you. Expect it to spell out what work is included, which materials go on, roughly when and at what cost, how to reach the roofer, how cancelling and refunds work, and a note about your deductible. Whatever you hand over stays in trust until the materials show up or the job is mostly done.
Where It Goes From Here
- The roofer gets in touch. One independent roofer receives your request and contacts you to pick a time.
- The roof gets a close look. The roofer checks the shingles, flashing, vents and decking where they can be seen, and measures the roof.
- You receive the estimate in writing. Check that it names the materials, says who pulls the City permit (normally the roofer) and includes the permit and construction use tax in the job.
- You decide. Ask to see the local license for your address and proof of insurance before you sign anything.
Estimate Request Form
The form above asks only for what a roofer needs to plan the visit: your address, your contact details and a few words about the roof. It travels to one roofer and no one else, as the privacy policy explains.
Two Colorado rights are worth knowing before you sign. You can cancel a roofing contract during the 72 hours after signing it, and on an insurance-funded job you can also cancel during the 72 hours after your insurer tells you in writing that it has turned down all or part of the claim. No roofer may pay, waive or rebate your deductible. The referral marketing disclosure covers how the referral fee works.
